about us Mimoska was established in 1968 as the natural successor of a pre-existing textiles firm. The business expanded and began to specialise in the production of a wide range of women’s outerwear. Annual production currently stands at more than 1,000,000 garments and the company has owned a manufacturing subsidiary in the Czech Republic for almost 15 years, as well as production units in Tunisia and the Far East. With exports accounting for 70% of turnover, Mimoska is a truly international concern, which successfully exports Italian fashion to competitive, modern markets such as those in Europe. The company’s historical home in San Giorgio su Legnano is where all the design work behind the collections is carried out. The samples are also prepared and produced here. Despite a difficult period for the Italian textile industry Mimoska has continued to grow, increasing production and turnover.
